Macadamia oil is healthy, and great for cooking and frying because of it's high heat capacity.  It has a wonderfully nutty aroma which compliments stir fries, salad dressings and confectioneries. This cholesterol free, all natural, unrefined, cold pressed extra virgin nut oil contains the highest percentage of mono-unsaturated oils.

Macadamia nut oil boasts a high content of beneficial fatty acids that make it better than many other oils. The high oleic acid content in macadamia nut oil assists in rebalancing cholesterol levels by reducing the level of triglycerides (which can clog the arteries) reducing risk of atherosclerosis, heart attack, and stroke. Macadamia nut oil contains balanced amounts of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.  Macadamia oil contains a high dose of calories which is great for an energy boost, but could contribute to weight gain if consumed in too larga a quantity. Research has revealed that macadamia nut oil contains a high level of antioxidants, including tocotrienols. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals that can cause chronic diseases like cancer. Antioxidants also boost the immune system, assist with detoxing and could boost eye health by preventing muscular degeneration. Macadamia oil contains an antioxidant called squalene (that naturally occurs in our bodies).  Adding squalene to our diet is believed to help reduce oxidative stress on the body’s fats and the skin slowing down visable signs of aging like wrinkles, age spots and slow healing rate. Macadamia oil is also a wonderful moisturizer with anti-inflammatory properties which can be used in place of traditional shaving oils. Macadamia nut oil has a higher smoke point than other vegetable oils including olive oil so, when you’re cooking with macadamia nut oil, you are far less likely to burn off the beneficial fats along with the flavour.

We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase from Healthinista. If there is anything you are unhappy with and if you wish to return a product, please contact us within 7 working days of purchase stating the reason for return. 

  • Returns will only be accepted if the item(s) is still in their original unopened packaging
  • If you are returning the item because there has been damage to the products delivered, please email Healthinista photos showing clearly the damage or problem being reported
  • If you are returning the item because it is not suitable or you have changed your mind we will refund you, less the courier fee once the item has been returned to our store and our team has confirmed that the item is in a saleable condition
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to package the goods to be returned properly so that they are not damaged in transit
  • If the return is due to misrepresentation on our site or there is a manufacturer issue we will refund you in full as soon as the item is received back at our premises
  • The refund will be done in the form of the original tender of the order
  • Refunds are dealt with on a case-by-case basis and are generally processed within 2-4 working days.
