NeuroActive N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine, is also known as NALT, contains the modified version of the amino acid L-Tyrosine. The N-terminal has been acetylated for higher bioavailability and absorption.

NeuroActive N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine works by upping levels of Dopamine, a neurotransmitter, in our brains. This involves the brain using the enzyme tyrosine hydroxylase to convert L-Tyrosine into L-DOPA (a precursor to dopamine). Cognitive function is improved with the aid of NALT.
