Now Foods Taurine Double Strength 1000 mg helps support nerve growth, aids in lowering blood pressure and calming the nervous system. Taurine is a conditionally essential amino acid which is not utilized for protein synthesis, it is mainly found free in most tissues, especially throughout the nervous system. Taurine functions in tissues by stabilizing cell membranes, aiding the transport of potassium, sodium, calcium and magnesium in and out of cells. This also helps to generate and regulate nerve impulses and aids in the maintenance of fluid balance; as well as is used by the body in visual pathways, as well as in the brain and nervous system, where it works together with glycine and GABA as a neurotransmitter. Now Foods Taurine, Double Strength 1000 mg has twice the Taurine (1,000 mg) as in our regular strength product (500 mg).

Serving per 1 capsule:
Taurine (free form) 1g (1000mg).
Cellulose (capsule) and Stearic Acid (vegetable source).
Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.

Suggested Directions for Use:

Take 1 capsule 1 to 2 times daily with juice or water.

  • If the return is due to misrepresentation on our site or there is a manufacturer issue we will refund you in full as soon as the item is received back at our premises
