Traditionally used for many years, goldenseal has anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory abilities.  Goldenseal may be effective in treating colds, flu and upper respiratory issues.  Hay fever and stuffy noses may also be relieved with the aid of goldenseal.

Digestive disorders may also benefit from this root, which may be useful in treating ulcers, constipation and diarrhea and flatulence.

Ingredients:

Goldenseal (hydrastis canadensis)    20% w/v (2:1)

Alcohol:    45% v/v

Purified Water:    55% v/v

Suggested Directions for Use:

Adults: 20 – 30 drops 2 – 3 times daily.  Children (1-5 years): 5 drops 3 times daily.  Children (6-12 years): 10 drops 3 times daily.  10 drops for maintainance.

Or as otherwise directed by your healthcare practitiioner.

Can be taken directly on the tongue or in 1/3 water or juice.  If medicinal alcohol is not tolerated place drops in boiling water for 3 minutes. The alcohol will evaporate and the herbs will still be effective.

Warnings:

Not recommended for children or pregnant women.
