Soil Organic Bergamot Oil has a lovely ability to centre and calm your mind while gently uplifting your emotions. Bergamont oil is regularly used to relieve feelings of stress and anxiety; Soil Organic Bergamot Oil may also soothe, cleanse and purify your skin. This pure, organic oil from Soil is expressed from the peel of the bitter orange tree and is helpful for colds, flu, PMS and nervous digestive complaints.

Soil Organic Bergamot Oil typically has a naturally occurring chemical called bergapten (a furanocoumarin), which is a phototoxic agent that produces abnormally dark pigmentation and reddening of the surrounding skin after exposure to UV rays. Bergapten has been removed from this Bergamot oil and so it is safe to use on the skin in dilution.

Ingredients:

100% pure organic Bergamot essential oil (Citrus bergamia).

Suggested Directions for Use:

Baths: Add 5 – 10 drops of essential oil(s) to a warm run bath. If skin is sensitive, blend the essential oil in a teaspoon of carrier oil first. Close the door so the vapours don’t escape. Soak for at least 10 minutes relaxing and breathing deeply. For added moisturising dilute the oils in 10ml of carrier before adding to the bath.

Massage: add 5 – 6 drops of essential oil per 10ml of carrier oil. Mix thoroughly and apply liberally to the skin.

Inhalations: Add 4 – 5 drops of essential oil to a bowl of steaming water. Place a towel over your head, close your eyes and lean over the bowl. Inhale the vapour for a few minutes.

Burners and Diffusers: Fill the bowl of the burner/vaporiser with water and then add 3 – 6 drops of essential oil. Light the candle and the oil will evaporate as the water heats up. Do not let the bowl dry out.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to package the goods to be returned properly so that they are not damaged in transit
  • If the return is due to misrepresentation on our site or there is a manufacturer issue we will refund you in full as soon as the item is received back at our premises
